Indiscretion is a 2009 Nordhavn 43 \u00a0trawler (Hull #39). \u00a0She is a full-displacement yacht constructed to withstand blue water voyaging. \u00a0Indiscretion has two helm stations: a dedicated pilothouse and an open flybridge.<\/p>\n
A three-foot custom swim platform was added to the boat in 2015, along with a hardtop cover over the flybridge helm station.<\/p>\n
Indiscretion is powered by a Lugger 1066T 165 HP diesel engine which pushes the boat along at about 7 knots at her normal cruising speed and burns just over 2 gallons per hour. \u00a0With\u00a0over 1,300 gallons of fuel, she could travel from Seattle to Hawaii without refueling. \u00a0She also has a backup Yanmar 3YM “wing” engine with its own fuel tank and propeller shaft in case the main engine breaks down.<\/p>\n
Systems that make long-distance voyaging quite comfortable include active fin stabilizers, a 12KW generator, diesel hydronic heating system, air conditioning throughout the vessel, a washer\/dryer, \u00a0a \u00a0watermaker,\u00a0and ample cold food storage.<\/p>\n
Sleeping accommodations include a master stateroom and guest stateroom, each with their own private head, as well as a single “watch” berth in the pilothouse.<\/p>\n
